This is a single-canvas version of my original Kamloops triptych with more emphasis on spring shades. I also emphasized the blue in the Overlander Bridge. We used to joke in Kamloops that we had two bridges by which to cross the river: one was blue and the other was red so we referred to them as the Blue Bridge and the Red Bridge. It was a simple and uncomplicated naming system but totally foolproof.
Kamloops is full of golden tones and subtle desert pastels. There is a quiet beauty that resonates more and more over time.
